Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Boston Employment Network is to increase homeless individuals and families earned income by offering coordinated access to job skills training, job attainment, career advancement and job retention services. To this end we will engage and educate employers, train staff and share resources, and develop best practices.
The Boston Employment Network provides jobseekers with the hands on training they need to earn industry standard credentials to secure employment with career advancement potential.
The Boston Employment Network provides jobseekers with the individualized job search supports needed to secure employment in their career interest area. Services provided include individual support from an Employment Specialist, classroom based career readiness curriculum and computer labs for jobseekers to conduct their own independent job search.
Homeless Family Services
The Boston Employment Network provides homeless family services through Project Hope. Services available to homeless families include employment and job training, basic supports and housing.
